"Un Autre Regard" on PolytechniqueDenis Villeneuve's Polytechnique is screening at the Cannes Film Festival in the Directors' Fortnight section. Exploring terrain similar to Michael Moore's Bowling for Columbine and Gus Van Sant's Elephant, Polytechnique retraces the massacre that took place December 6, 1989 at Montreal's Polytechnique school. Villeneuve explores the trauma experienced by two survivors and examines how each handles this tragedy.
