"Un Autre Regard" on HierroHierro, a film directed by Gabe Ibanez, will be presented during the Critics' Week at the Cannes Film Festival. The International Critcs' week has been dedicated since its creation in 1962 by the French Film Critics association (Syndicat Français de la Critque du Cinéma) to the discovery of new talent in the film industry. It’s mission has been to pay tribute to the first and second works by filmmakers from around the world. Bernardo Bertolucci, Ken Loach, Wong Kar Wai, Jacques Audiard, Gaspar Noé, Arnaud Desplechin and François Ozon are just a few of the filmmakers that have found their start at the Critics' Week..Hierro retraces the history of a mother on the verge of insanity after the disappearance of her son. Nothing will stop her from finding him.Wild Bunch co-founder Vincent Maraval rediscovered Hispanic cinema thanks to his friend, the Mexican director Guillermo Del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth).
