ENTER THE VOID

"Un Autre Regard" on Enter The VoidGaspar Noé’s Enter The Void, screening in competition at the 2009 Canne’s Film Festival, is bound to cause a fuss. As usual the director provokes audiences, incites discussion, and stirs emotions such as love, hate and contempt. Enter The Void is a long-term project that tells the story of a Oscar, 20 years old and a newcomer to Tokyo, and his 18 year-old sister Linda. Lost in their new environment, these young siblings are about to live a surreal experience.Wild Bunch co-founder Vincent Maraval feels grateful that Cannes festival progrzammer Thierry Frémaux selected Noé's film. Maraval hails this feature film as representing a new direction — "cinema 2.0."Randall Koral, NESPRESSO's special correspondent at the Cannes film festival, will file his report on Enter the Void in the "Cannes Daily" section of this site May 22nd at 11 a.m. CET.ENTER THE VOIDDirected by Gaspar NoéCast : Paz De La Huerta, Cyril Roy, Nathalie Brown, Olly Alexander, Sara StockbridgeBelow is the schedule for "Un Autre Regard" on the Cannes Film Festival, from May 13th through May 24th, at 6 p.m. CET :May 23 / Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky
